Jamie's Story:

Jamie Kotula, whose untimely passing in a car accident on his way to school on Friday, January 14, 2011, at age 16, broke the hearts of so many.

At the young age of 16, Jamie led a much fulfilled life. At his high school, Holy Cross, Jamie was secretary of Student Council and a member of the National Honor Society, soccer team, swim team, track team, Pro-Life club, chess club, foreign language club and the show choir. He was also a member of St. Stanislaus Polish National Catholic Church. He was vice-president of the Youth Group, vice-president of the youth convocation, a former altar server and valedictorian of his eighth-grade class at St. Stanislaus Elementary School.

Jamie always lived his life in the present. Whatever he was doing, his energy and attention was focused on that; whether it be eating lunch with friends, playing soccer, spending time with family or studying.
